Degree in Ecology at Biology Institute of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1989), Master degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology) at National Museum/UFRJ (1995), specialization in Environmental Engineering at Engineering School/UFRJ (1995), and Doctorate degree in Geography at Geosciences Institute/UFRJ (2004). Researcher and technical coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Environmental Sciences Laboratory of the Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute for Postgraduate Studies and Research in Engineering (LIMA/COPPE/UFRJ), where is engaged in projects concerning Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA), with emphasis on ecosystems dynamic and biodiversity, climate change adaptation in cities, and bird strike prevention at airports.
